School and Youth Organization Tours
Show your students the real-world applications of their studies. Enrich their knowledge of what humans have accomplished in their quest to explore under the sea.
The History of Diving Museum is the perfect place for a field trip for your school or youth organization! We offer custom programming such as guided tours, presentations and hands on activities. All of our programs provide the opportunity to touch, explore, and immerse yourself in the exhibits.
Rates
Elementary and middle school groups - $6.00 per person, with a minimum of 12 paid
High school and post-secondary groups - $11.00 per person, with a minimum of 12 paid
Accompanying teachers and chaperones - one free adult per six paying students, additional adults are $11.00 each
Tours should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

Museum in Motion - Off Site Educational Presentations
HDM staff and volunteers have unique educational outreach programs tailored to schools and universities to introduce students to the international story of "the quest to explore under the sea". The programs incorporate a presentation and hands-on activities.
We can also schedule visits to schools, colleges and groups outside the Keys.

General Tours and Presentations
The Museum welcomes groups of all sizes for a self guided tour of the exhibits. We offer guided or self-guided tours, as well as presentations tailored to the interests of your group.
Rates
Group Admission Rate Self-Guided Tour - $11.00 per person, with a minimum of 12 paying adults - group leader is free
Group Guided Tours or Special Presentations - $15.00 per person, with a minimum of 15 paying adults

Lectures and Programs
Immerse Yourself!
The Museum offers a free program at 7 PM on the third Wednesday of every month covering special topics such as regional diving history, marine archaeology, new technologies, diving safety, and more. These programs are FREE to the public.
Dive Into History
The Museum also offers several special presentations and events throughout the year. These programs are often coordinated with a local dive shop for an optional dive or snorkel on a local reef or wreck. Check our Events page for upcoming events, programs, and pricing.
Off-Site Presentations
The Museum has speakers who are available to come to your location or participate via live streaming presentation for your group. Please email programs@divingmuseum.org for more information.
Bauer Diving History Research Library
The Museum’s research library is for students and scholars, a project funded by the Monroe County Tourist Development Council and the Museum. It houses the largest collection of historic and rare literature about diving history currently known to exist. If you would like more information regarding library access, what materials are available, or opportunities for research, please contact us at programs@divingmuseum.org.
