Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer
As a small non-profit Museum, we rely on a strong group of volunteers to help us serve our community and further our mission of telling the story of man’s quest to explore under the sea. If you would like to commit to a regular shift, we are always looking for help staffing our visitor services desk. In addition, we are currently looking for additional help with the following:
Education
We are currently working to revise and revitalize our educational outreach programs. As part of this effort, we would like to create new investigative activities for middle and high school students to use as they navigate our exhibits. We are also looking for assistance designing activities and resources to be used by local educators in their classrooms.
An Extra Pair of Hands
Sometimes, we don’t need much. If you’re willing to lend a hand helping us with inventory in the Museum Store, freshening up exhibits, scanning and cropping images, or other miscellaneous tasks we find ourselves faced with here at the Museum, we’d love to have your help!
