Come learn about the diverse fish species that make our state such a famous destination for fishing, snorkeling, and diving, and what we can do to help preserve their habitats. See artistic creations from students across the Keys, made from materials just as diverse as our fish – plush, paper mache, paint, and so much more.
Dive Into Art: Fintastic Fish of Florida is made in collaboration with the Art Guild of the Purple Isles, who have also provided numerous artworks on display, all centered around themes of conservation, aquaculture, and sustainable fishing. Accompanying the artwork is interpretive created by local reef preservation organizations, providing information about threats to our fish populations and ways anyone – from tourists to fishermen – can help.
This limited-time featured exhibit is open from January 15th to April 16th, 2025.
